The Winterfeld family experienced a tragedy years ago when their daughter Rosa, still a teenager but already the mother of a daughter, disappeared without a trace. Now Rosa's body is found near the Black Forest village. Just like back then, Franziska Tobler and Friedemann Berg are investigating. Just like back then, Meike Winterfeld blames Werner Tröndle, who has several previous convictions. He served time in prison for other crimes and now lives in the village again, even though most people don't want anything to do with him. Franziska Tobler and Friedemann Berg reconstruct Rosa's last evening again, not only with the family, but also with Rosa's boyfriend Axel and her best friend Elif.
