Resigned, Alfie scans adverts for a new pub lease. Kat appeals to Phil to let them stay and pawns a ring to pay their rent plus £100 compensation. Phil accepts the money but still won’t re-hire them. Desperate, Kat admits they left because she had an affair and pleads this is her last chance to keep her family. Phil allows them to stay.
