Events are moving fast following last night's UN Security Council resolution authorising all necessary measures to protect civilians from attacks by Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's forces. In the face of Western powers discussing how to enforce the no-fly zone, Libya's government has declared an immediate ceasefire, with Foreign Minister Mussa Kussa saying that it was intended "to protect civilians".
