悟空救出唐僧、八戒，师徒四人重又团聚。悟空用两扇磨盘化作金钹重又夹住腿，设计生擒了黄眉怪。师徒一不留神，黄眉怪反夺回金钹，抓走了唐僧，钻石也落入黄眉怪之手。钻石之事为王母所知，为救紫衣，沙僧用抓来的驼背妖换回钻石，悟空去天宫还钻石，遇到弥勒佛，得知黄眉怪为弥勒佛的黄眉童儿所变，便一同前去收服了黄眉怪。
