CHIT is turning eighteen soon. UNCLE KEUNG, an old neighbor of his, pays him a sudden visit and hands him a letter that sent to his place by mistake many years ago. CHIT is astonished to see that it was from his mother, WONG FA, whom he has lost contact with for ages. Seeing that CHIT does not have any idea to manage the letter, WAH tricks him into opening it. In the letter, FA wrote that she had returned to Hong Kong when CHIT was four years old, and that he had pushed her down the escalator by accident. CHIT is upset upon finishing reading it.
